What play is Lauren reading in this picture?

Lauren has a Bachelor of Arts in Theater (concentration in writing and directing) and Film Studies

After attending theater productions since I was little and then majoring in theater, the stage has become one of the loves of my life. In my opinion, there is nothing more exciting than the moment when one is sitting in a room full of people, the theater’s lights begin to dim, the curtain draws back, and a performer steps on stage. The theater truly is an exhilarating and magical place.

This blog is dedicated to the wonderful world of plays and literature. Here I will delve into specific plays and books, conducting analyses on topics such as theme, plot, characters, social/political relevance, autobiographical nature, etc. I will include my thoughts on relevant issues in the theater and my musings on being a playwright. Also, every other month I will post a profile on a particular playwright. And do not forget to check out my list of suggested plays and books if you find yourself stuck on what to read next.

Welcome to my blog and I hope you enjoy your immersion into the world of theater and literature!
